Barbara JoyceBAKERDied peacefully in her sleep in Cheltenham General Hospital on Thursday 22nd December 2005. The care she received from the nursing staff at both the Lilleybrook Ward of the General Hospital and Up Hatherly Ward at Delancey Hospital was of the very highest order. For her part, Barbara was a greatly admired and model patient despite the severity of her condition.Her death deprives her grieving Husband, John, Sons Paul and Nigel and Grandchildren Eleanor, Bryony, Patrick and Che of a gentle and loving Wife, Mother and Nanny and her Daughters-in-Law, Claire and Yvonne have lost a wonderful Mother-in-Law. She will be greatly missed by her family and large circle of friends.A "Celebration of Barbara's Life" will take place at Bethesda Methodist Church, Great Norwood Street, Cheltenham at 2pm. on Wednesday 4th January 2006 following a private family Cremation.Friends wishing to make a charitable donation in Barbara's memory should send them to the Funeral Directors, Mason & Stokes, 54 Hewlett Road, Cheltenham making payments in favour of either Cats Protection (Cheltenham) or R.N.L.I. (Cheltenham Branch) of which John is Vice President.i
